Obligatory Journal Entry

I figured I'd regale you folks with a brief update of what I'm currently up to. Because all of you are so damn interested in what I do! *sarcasm*
All sarcasm aside however, I've been surprisingly busy. My work on my novel has been progressing as well as it can be. I'm happy with how far I've been getting in it. So far, it's the longest I've ever stuck to writing a book. Normally I find a better idea and go on with it, and plan to return to my old idea later. But this one is it, this is the one I really want to get down on paper. It's become more than just another story for me, it's kinda become my life.
I get up in the morning because I want to write this story. Instead of a cup of coffee I get a good jolt from all my enthusiasm for this story and the potential it holds. I spend hours of my free time working on it and, sometimes, when I look over it, I can't help but feel like I'm accomplishing something for the first time in my life.
Now, I'm not saying it's a good story, for all I know I'm just writing crap, but I'm enjoying it all the same. And I love this story, it's one I've been working on for most of my life, and I've finally got it to the point where I honestly, truly, love it.
Oddly enough, I wish I could share it with everyone. However I can't not until it's done, otherwise I might end up ruining my good streak here.

So that's what I've been up to for the most part. Apart from that, I've been really enjoying all you guys' deviations, as you can plainly see from my favorites section. And I want to just say to you all to keep up the amazing work. It's artists like you guys who really inspire me to make art of my own, and I can't respect you guys enough for that.
